Don’t drink your calories❌

Sugary drinks are among the most fattening items you can put into your body.

Why? Because your brain doesn’t measure calories from liquid sugar the same way it does for solid foods. Therefore, when you drink soda, you end up consuming more calories.

Sugary drinks are strongly associated with obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and many other health problems.

Make sure to read labels! Certain fruit juices may be almost as bad as soda, as they sometimes contain just as much sugar. The small amounts of antioxidants do not negate the sugar’s harmful effects.

✅Stay hydrated with water ✅

It’s recommended that you drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day (the 8×8 rule). Drinking water has so many great benefits. Staying hydrated is important, it’s one of the best things you can do for your overall health.

Carbonated water or sparkling water is a refreshing beverage and good alternative to sugary soft drinks as well.
